Terms of service
Last updated
These terms are an agreement between you and LinkedSerp ("we" or "us"). They apply when you create a LinkedSerp account, use the app, or try the free sample on our home page. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the service. Our Privacy policy explains how we handle your data and is part of these terms.
1. Who we are and what the service does
LinkedSerp is run by LinkedSerp. The service does three things.
- It finds long tail Google keywords for a niche you enter or for your website.
- It checks the live Google top 10 for each keyword and tells you whether a LinkedIn article already ranks there.
- It drafts an article with AI for the keyword you pick, along with an SEO title and description.
You copy the article and publish it on LinkedIn yourself. We never connect to your LinkedIn account, never ask for your LinkedIn password, and never post anything on your behalf.
2. Accounts
- You need an account to run searches and generate articles. Sign up with an email address you can receive mail at, and keep it up to date. We use it to sign you in and to contact you about your account.
- Keep your password and sign in links private. Anything done through your account counts as done by you. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it.
- One person per account. Do not share your sign in details or let other people use your account.
- You must be 18 or older, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher, to use the service.
- If you use the service on behalf of a company, you confirm that you are allowed to accept these terms for it.
3. Plans, credits and payment
- Paid plans are monthly subscriptions. Stripe bills your card in advance each month. We never see or store your card number.
- Each plan includes a set number of search credits and article credits per month. Credits are added to your account when a payment succeeds.
- Unused credits carry over while your subscription is active, and credits you have already paid for stay usable if you cancel. We can change how long credits last with 30 days notice.
- Top-ups are one time purchases of extra searches. Top-up credits do not expire while your account is open.
- A credit is used when a search or article starts. If a search or article fails because of a problem on our side, the credit is returned to your account.
- We can change our prices. We will give you at least 30 days notice by email or in the app before a new price applies to your subscription. If you do not want to pay the new price, cancel before it takes effect.
- Prices are in US dollars and do not include taxes. Where sales tax, VAT, GST or a similar tax applies, it is added at checkout or shown on your invoice, and you are responsible for paying it.
4. Cancellation and refunds
- You can cancel your subscription at any time from the Billing page in the app or through the Stripe customer portal.
- When you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and you keep your remaining credits until then. Your subscription is not renewed after that.
- We do not give partial refunds for unused time or unused credits.
- There is one exception. If you are on your first subscription payment, you can ask for a full refund within 7 days of that payment, as long as you have run fewer than 2 searches.
- To ask for a refund, email support@linkedserp.com from the address on your account. Refunds go back to the original payment method and can take a few days to show up.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to do any of the following.
- Scrape, copy in bulk, or resell the keyword, ranking or article data the service produces. Using your own results to publish your own articles is what the service is for, and that is fine.
- Access the service with scripts, bots or other automated tools, or use it in any way other than through the app itself.
- Use the service to create or publish content that is illegal, defamatory, misleading, or that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark or other rights.
- Get around, or try to get around, credit limits, rate limits or the free sample limit, for example by creating more than one account.
- Interfere with the service, probe or test its security without our written permission, or put an unreasonable load on it.
- Use the service in a way that breaks the terms of LinkedIn or Google.
If you break these rules we can suspend or close your account. See section 9.
6. Your content and our output
- What you type in, such as niches, website addresses and notes, is yours. The articles generated for you are also yours to edit, use and publish as you like. We do not claim ownership of either.
- You give us permission to store and process your inputs and outputs so that we can run the service for you, as described in the Privacy policy.
- You are responsible for everything you publish, on LinkedIn or anywhere else, including any changes you make to an article.
- AI drafts can contain mistakes, including wrong facts and figures and untrue statements about people or companies. A draft is a starting point, not a finished piece. Read it and correct it before you publish it.
- We do not promise any ranking, traffic, leads or other result. Google decides what ranks, and that can change at any time.
- Search volumes, ranking positions and related data come from third parties and from live Google results. They can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date by the time you read them.
7. Third parties and trademarks
- LinkedIn and Google are trademarks of their respective owners. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by either of them. We use their names only to describe what the service does.
- We rely on other companies to run the service: Supabase for accounts and the database, Vercel for hosting, Stripe for payments, DataForSEO for keyword and search data, and Anthropic for article drafting. They process data on our behalf under their own terms. Our Privacy policy lists what each one receives.
- The service depends on these providers and on Google search results. If one of them changes or stops, parts of the service may change or stop with it.
8. Availability and changes
- We work to keep the service running, but we do not promise it will be available at all times. Maintenance, provider outages and other problems can interrupt it.
- Some features are marked as beta, or are offered free during a beta. They can change, break or be removed without notice.
- We can add, change or remove features. If a change materially reduces what your paid plan includes, we will give you reasonable notice, and you can cancel before it takes effect.
- We can update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. For material changes we will give you reasonable notice by email or in the app. If you keep using the service after a change takes effect, you accept the updated terms.
9. Termination
- You can delete your account at any time from Settings in the app. This removes your profile, searches, keywords and articles. If you have an active subscription, cancel it first so that it does not renew.
- We can suspend or close your account if you break these terms, if we have to for legal reasons, or if we stop offering the service. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you first.
- Sections 6, 10 and 11 keep applying after your account ends.
10. Disclaimers and limits of liability
- The service is provided as is and as available. Apart from what is written in these terms, we make no promises about it, including about accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted or error free operation.
- To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for all claims connected to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
- To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or loss of business or reputation, however they arise.
- Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law. If you are a consumer, you may have rights under the law where you live that these terms do not change.
11. Governing law and disputes
- These terms are governed by the law of the place where LinkedSerp is operated.
- If you have a problem, email us first at support@linkedserp.com. We will try to resolve it with you informally within 30 days before either of us starts a formal process.
- If we cannot resolve it that way, the courts of the place where LinkedSerp is operated will handle the dispute, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim at home.
